How You Can Support Southern California Amidst Wildfires
JANUARY 12, 2024
We are heartbroken by the devastation caused by the wildfires that have swept across Southern California, leaving an unimaginable toll in their wake. As of today, these fires have consumed over 38,000 acres of land, destroyed countless homes, and forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate. For many in our community, the unthinkable has happened: their homes, filled with cherished memories, have been reduced to ashes. Our hearts ache for those who have lost everything and are now facing an uncertain future.
We want to take a moment to honor and thank the incredible first responders and firefighters who have risked their lives to protect our communities. Their bravery and unwavering commitment to saving lives and property are nothing short of heroic. To see them work tirelessly, often under the most dangerous conditions, is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. We owe them more than words can express.
To those directly impacted, please know that you are not alone. Our community stands together, ready to offer support in any way we can. Below, you’ll find links to fire evacuation information and community relief funds.
Let us come together in these dark times to support and uplift those who need it most. Together, we can begin the long journey toward healing and rebuilding. Our thoughts are with every family, every individual, and every animal affected by this tragedy. Please stay safe and reach out if you need assistance.
With love and solidarity,
The BTTL Team
